Casino Trip

Hi Everyone!!!

So...for awhile, I've been needing a quick getaway...you know, when you've just had too much and you just need to get away? Well, two of my buddies (Richard and Kim) and I took off to a casino and had UBER amounts of fun. It was just nice to get away and do nothing but eat and laugh the entire time, which is basically what we did with a couple of other things. Here's a summary of the fabulous trip in pictures taken on my cell phone. A lot of places we went to did not allow me to bring in my huge ol' DSLR camera.

Here's me before we took off. Yes, Kimmie took this picture becuz my hubby Daniel LIMITED me since we were hitting up a casino. I guess he had a reason, the last time I went to a casino, he had to drag me out :( Anyway, we took this picture as a joke and sent it to Daniel which he thought was serious. Hahaha.

So this is us cashin' out our big winnings on the first night we were there..Richard and his WINNINGS (ROTFL) of 24 cents on the left, Kim was the big winner in the middle with $49.84 and me with my $20.52. Hahaha...Big winnings!

The next morning (or afternoon, whatever) we were STARVING!!! We went to IHOP and devoured our food before I even had a chance to take a picture of it. But while we were waiting, we took some pictures...

Me copying Kim's pose...hehehe...look at my horrible hair! I forgot to pack shampoo and conditioner and I just can't use the ones that the hotel provides...ecchh...

And Mr. Ex-Model himself...the always wonderfully sweet Richard...all GQ-y and stuff. :D

And now of course finally the food!!! See? We were so hungry that when we were almost done eating was when I remembered to take pictures of the food...hehehe...

Nothing like Sprite and OJ in the morning...I've been downing OJ like crazy for the last couple of days because I've been sick. However, I'm more of a no-pulp kinda gal and this one had LOTS of pulp which was difficult for me.

 What was left of my blueberry and whipped cream waffle...nom nom nom!!!

And this was Richard's eggs that I had as well...yum! That's his fork right there...hehehehe

Next, we stopped at my homeland...ULTA...(cue heavenly angels and their harps)

I had TONS OF FUN in there and could probably spend another four to five hours, but poor Richard was starting to look tired so we only stayed for about 2-3. Hehehe...and I got to experience a first here, but you gotta go to my other blog to read about that.

Next, we headed off to Best Buy for Richard to get some manly things, but like any other man, only spent a couple minutes in the actual store..hehehe...

Next to the casino!!! Where I lost more money...hehehe....and then to the buffet!!!

On this plate in a clockwise form: mac'n cheese, a meatball, cornbread, fish stick, and PRIME RIB! Yes people, I LOOOVVVEEE steak and the redda, the betta! But I will admit it, even this was a little too rare for me. But it was still delicious!

 Next on plate #2, clockwise motion again: steamed chicken and roast duck, sweet potato fries, sushi, chowfun, pot sticker, shu mai (in the middle), steamed white fish, and black bean chicken on the bottom and then the left, potatoes au gratin. I'm sorry but NOTHING on this plate was good :(

Then we have Kim and Richard mid meal...so lovely :D

Now, as you get to know me, you'll find out that I have a super duper sugary sweet tooth so at buffets, I usually get a couple of dishes of dessert...I never finish them but I always like to try them...so here we have the following:

Key Lime Pie (eeww...it was yucky)

 Apple Crisp (eeww...soggy), Vanilla Ice Cream (good, but it's just vanilla ice cream), and Bread Pudding (uhh....it was okay..not the best but better than all the other desserts)

And here...banana cream pie (tasted like powered sugar and whipped cream...eewww) and I have no idea what that little bar thing is but by this time, I was so disappointed with the desserts that I didn't even try it.

And finally, a picture that Richard took of me eating my favorite thing in the world POTSTICKERS! Unfortunately, this potsticker wasn't that good :(

Finally, on the way home (before I fell asleep for the entire way home) some beautiful sunset photos.

I had TONS of fun with my girls...and now for a good nights sleep for a long week ahead... :D
